A Tragic Oversight

October 28 was Bill's 30th birthday and I forgot to wish him a happy day on my blog (because I had a lot on my mind, although that's no excuse). So, even though it's two weeks late--Happy Birthday Bill!

(And just FYI, for two more days you are FOUR YEARS OLDER THAN ME!!!!!)

California Dreamin'

I thought I'd let all of you Defying Gravity readers know that I'm in California for 10 days and may not have a chance to blog extensively while I'm out here. I have the time, but my connection here is dialup and REALLY slow. Stay tuned for my return, though, when I'll entertain you with my West Coast antics (including, already, a mad dash through an airport, my first airplane bathroom experience, the weird lady who sat beside me that was traveling to Reno for a table-top shuffleboard contest , stories about my uncle who doesn't understand there are things you just don't talk about and--this is the worst--absolutely no cell phone service!).
